As a Global Platform Director, you will manage the strategic marketing and product management function for the Teslin business. You will oversee the strategy, customer insights, pricing, marketing solutions and product management responsibilities to improve the growth strategy. You will develop the marketing function across the Teslin business and will collaborate across Specialty Coatings and Materials.

You will lead the product line strategy, including managing the product line roadmap, leading new product development (NPD) efforts and identifying new products and new markets. You will oversee the product line profitability, the profit contribution of the combined segments and lead the efforts of important strategic issues.

This is a remote/hybrid position and will report to the Global Business Director, Teslin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the Teslin business strategy and marketing plan to guide execution activities to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Manage the innovation pipeline to lead portfolio expansion into adjacent markets.
  • Direct product development, product portfolio, and pricing to ensure the ongoing competitiveness of the product platform.
  • Develop the customer pipeline for new products and directing the plan for sales growth.
  • Identify technology and manufacturing partnerships and acquisition considerations across segments to aid in business growth.
  • Partner with manufacturing and procurement to identify and deliver cost savings ideas.
  • Manage pricing at the customer-product level by setting price-margin-volume targets by regions, markets and customers and approving pricing with sales leadership.
  • Manage the Identification and Security segment directly.
  • Develop segment market map, product line roadmap and marketing plan- long-term strategy and near-term implementation/targets.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with main customers and market participants (internal and external) at all levels. Partner with sales, R&D, and Technical Service to address customers' needs and pursue potential opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years, 15 preferred, proven marketing experience in product line management, strategy development, marketing analytics and new market entry
  • Experience in Identification and Secure Credentials industries.
  • Global Travel 30-40% of time
