Under the supervision and direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (and the Vice President of the Division) you will be responsible for the effective growth, development, and implementation of selected services for the Women’s and Children’s Service line. Your responsibilities include direction and decision-making, compliance with regulatory agencies, financial performance evaluation, and effective collaboration with physician and nursing leaders to implement projects and processes that promote growth, efficiencies, collaboration, and optimal outcomes across system divisions.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will contribute to the development of strategic direction for the Women’s and Children’s Service Line.
• You will act as a representative and ambassador to the local and national communities to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships for the benefit of the organization and the patient population served.
• You are responsible for the development and management of integrated, strategy aligned work plans.
• You will collaborate with the CFO on the development and management of the annual operating and capital budgets for Women’s and Children’s Services Line.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Bachelor of Nursing degree required
• Master’s in Nursing Administration or Healthcare Administration degree preferred.
• Minimum five years healthcare experience required in Women’s and Children’s Line areas
• Minimum five years direct management experience required
• Certification in specialty and leadership preferred
• Registered Nursing License in the State of Texas or Compact License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
