Direct Support Professional (DSP)/CNA-

Work with Individuals in a loving and peaceful home! Clean environment!

Work Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred, working with Individuals with Intellectual and or Developmental disabilities and Autism. Willing to train on the job if candidate is a CNA and or is willing or looking to start a new career path and is highly motivated and dedicated to learning.

Skills and Certifications required: DSP Certificate- CPR/First Aid- Medication Aid- TOVA, If candidate is a CNA, an active CNA license needs to be presented (will provide training if needed) * Other on the job classes will be completed during orientation as mandated by DBHDS and Company Policies.

Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for managing day to day ADL's/IADL's of each individual in the home, including but not limited to medications, meals, hygiene, activities, documenting in the ISP and appropriate logs, transporting to appointments, building skills within and outside of the home such as house chores, making friends, positive communication, money management, etc... The candidate is required to know each individuals ISP (Individual Service Plan) and follow Human Rights and Home and Community Based (HCBS) Rights. The candidate will report to the House Supervisor.

Expectations: The candidate is expected to always respect the Individuals in the home and have a respectable working relationship with core staff, management and outside colleagues, such as Guardians, Support Coordinators and State entities.

Shifts: Winston's Residential is looking for Full or Part time positions to be filled. Three 12 hour night shifts 7p-7a and every other weekend. Shifts may change depending on needs of the home on occasion. Full Time employees will receive PTO upon completion of their first 90 days. Extra shifts of 2-4 hours, twice per week are available to pick up for resident outings.

Holidays: Winter and Summer holidays rotate yearly between staff.

Compensation: Hourly pay rate is dependent upon experience and how much training is needed. Will discuss during interview process.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
