Job description

To oversee and maintain the dining room service and meal standards in addition to room tray prep, assist residents in dining room, conducted in an organized and professional manner.

Assist Food Service Supervisor in training, supervising, directing and scheduling wait staff.

Review applicants hire and train staff.

Give affirmation and recognition appropriately.

Generate enthusiasm and a spirit of cooperation.

Set goals and objectives for wait staff.

Maintain job training program for staff with emphasis on health, safety, sanitation, and professional techniques

Maintain resident and guest relations through courteous, cooperative and understanding manners.

Assist and check for resident’s absence at each meal.

Ensure that all staff adheres to safety and sanitary practices.

Manage all aspects of Kitchen/dining wait staff area cleanliness.

Review meals daily with residents and staff to ensure the quality of food service.

Write reviews to enhance development of Wait staff team.

Ensure that wait staff operates in a professional manner.

Supervise and direct cleanliness of dining and food service areas.

Ensure that tables are appropriately set.

Ensure that all residents are seated as appropriate.

Greet new residents and integrate them into the dining room

Oversee organization and service of food for activities and events.

Assist in meal preparation as needed.

Wait, clean and reset tables.

Maintain an example of professionalism.

Train all wait staff proper recycling procedures and assure all staff adheres to proper recycling procedures.

Provide Director of Resident Care Services with resident information for Service planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
