Full Time, Salary Exempt Position

Pay: Starting at $50,000 per year. Higher rates will be considered for experienced candidates.

Scope of Supervision: Supervises servers. Provides guidance, training, and direction to Servers. Liaisons with Members of management. Serves as Manager on Duty as required.

Role: Manages the day-to-day operations of the Dining Room.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with policies and procedures and as instructed by the Executive Chef/Dietary Manager and/or the Wellness Director, as well as other members of management.
• Perform continuous, ongoing supervision of all Dining Room staff members including but not limited to training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, and evaluating.
• Oversee front of the house operations across the campus
• Report all complaints, grievances and instances of abuse to the Executive Chef.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, training and counsel of all servers.
• Assist residents as needed with the dining experience and social and leisure activities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (preferred)
• Knowledge of dining services.
• Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.
• Knowledge of the physiology, psychology and dietary needs of older adults.
