SOLUTIONS BUSINESS ANALYST, CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW

The Solutions Business Analyst sees the world in possibilities. Often our stakeholders have deep expertise about our industry, our customers, and our products. Some may know what they want, but not how to describe it. Others may know the problem they are trying to solve for, but not how to get to a solution. PURPOSE OF ROLE
  • Lead new system implementation, measure acceptance, and manage system retirement without interrupting effectiveness of daily operations.
  • Conduct business and solution feasibility analysis, change management, and perform requirements specification elicitation for multiple channels and platforms.
  • Articulate business requirements to technical resources, while providing guidance and direction on SOE (Systems of Engagement) solutions.
  • Drive agile methodology including prioritization of product backlogs aligned with business and customer experience priorities.
  • Lead complex projects requiring integration of crop modeling and agronomic insights developed from an in-depth understanding of data analytics and modeling capabilities.
  • Participate in large-scale deployments and mitigate risks and develop adoption plans for customer-facing solutions.
  • Define and design process flow diagrams, logical data design, and database schemas for relational databases.
  • Leverage RTM (release-to-manufacturing) and Microsoft SQL to perform quality analysis.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research solutions through stakeholder interviews, research, surveys and feedback
  • Gather feedback for product enhancements through analysis of support calls, tickets and direct stakeholder feedback
  • Author user stories and other requirements documents to inform software development
  • Gather intelligence from key stakeholders about needs and future growth Partner with product owners and creators to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully
  • Assume responsibility for project deliverables and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Evaluate, test, and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software and systems
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions based on user behavior/insights
  • Create project management documentation.
  • Capture testing scenarios from business stakeholders.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or similar discipline
  • 5+ years of experience presenting new product business cases to stakeholders, vendors, technical users, and senior leadership; identify, evaluate, and develop CX digital solution systems and procedures and implementing digital solutions
  • 5+ years of experience conducting business analysis, development and deployment of SOE; understand strategic inputs and translating them into functional and technical requirements to build omni-channel digital solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in relational database management systems to define entity relationship (ER) model for new digital solutions
  • 2+ years in the following skills: using Jira/Microsoft Azure and Confluence in Agile development methodology in a leading role
  • A solid understanding of crop growth stage models and disease models
