THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape one of the fastest growing and most popular DTC brands, while advancing your social media management and developing digital advertising skills. We’re looking for a high energy team player with a passion for working in a dynamic environment, and a deep love of the food and beverage space. You’ll be a key contributor on the Marketing Team, responsible for the digital presence of the company across social media channels and digital advertising. You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing to grow brand awareness and maintain consistency between native, earned and paid media. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with proven organizational, communications, copywriting and time management skills. This is a new role for the business where your contributions will have an immediate impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing Strategy

• Assist with developing social media and digital advertising strategy to achieve department objectives
• Identify platform trends and shifts to maximize campaign performance
• Create online persona to present across all digital touch points

Social Media Management

• Maintain social media calendar
• Prepare, schedule and post social media content across all platforms
• Ensure proper implementation of strategy according to best practices

Community Management

• Engage with customers and followers on native content and direct messages
• Direct inquiries to relevant team members
• Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and brands

Digital Advertising Management

• Assist with implementation and management of digital advertising campaigns
• Monitor and optimize campaign performance

Content Creation

• Develop content ideas aligned with key messaging
• Create UGC style content for relevant channels
• Attend events or activations to capture live content

Data Analytics and Reporting

• Monitor and report on relevant marketing data
• Track KPIs and performance across social channels

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in an advertising agency, digital marketing agency or in-house marketing department specializing in social media
• Experience in creating, executing and reporting on social media strategies
• Familiarity with best practices across platforms
• Experience with a social media management platform (Buffer, Hootsuite or similar)
• Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets and Slides), and Asana (or similar project management tool)
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
• Ability to motivate others, keep the team focused and on task
• Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker
• Resourceful self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles independently
• Demonstrated interest in food and entrepreneurship

Mochidoki offers a hybrid in-office/remote work environment. This position involves regular on-site work in our Manhattan offices.
