Job description

Responsible for food management for 40 seniors in five residential memory care homes all located within 10 - 15 minutes of one other in the Arvada/Wheat Ridge/North Lakewood area.

Help in overall planning, purchasing and delivery for weekly menus and food preparation. Work with team to answer questions, but house staff does the cooking.

Overall responsibilities:

· Menu planning

· Recipe gathering with assistance from Grove Menu System

· Food procurement/delivery

· Coordinate all aspects of Inventory management

· Work with individuals who prepare the meals

· Ability to work within a budget

Position Requirements:

· Trustworthy, reliable, good presentation, pass background and reference check

· Organized

· Strong cooking/dietary skills

· Reliable and accountable.

· Ability to stay within budget

· Reliable transportation and good driving record, insurance

· Computer-literate and knowledge of excel and word

· Understands various diet need/requirements

· Physically able to manage lifting packages and supplies up to 40 lbs

· Knowledge of cooking, recipes, grocery shopping

· Comfortable around seniors

Flexible schedule of about 30 hours per week.

Good working environment in a family-owned business.

All residents and staff are vaccinated for COVID.

Pay range starts at $20/hour plus bonus
