Gilman Healthcare Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located at the crossroads of Gilman just off Interstate 57. Since opening our doors in 1969, we have grown from a 49-bed facility to a 99-bed, 100% Medicare/Medicaid Certified facility. For over 40 years, Gilman Healthcare Center has cared for our community members who need 24-hour skilled nursing care and rehabilitation, returning loved ones to their homes. We are committed to achieving excellence in both nursing and rehabilitative services. Our interdisciplinary approach focuses on functional outcome and successful discharges to the communities of Iroquois, Champaign, Ford, Vermilion, and Kankakee counties.

Gilman Healthcare Center is looking for Dietary Aides that will serve an integral role in our team. This position allows our Dietary Aides to provide direct care and support, servicing a geriatric population.

Job Description

• Prepares and serves nutritious and palatable meals, following menus and/or special instruction.

• Adheres to recipes, methods, and solid sanitation principles.

• Completes all necessary clean-up after meals to include, dishwashing, countertop sanitation and cleaning and sanitation of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Food Handler Certificate
