PHOENIX LITHOGRAPHING CORPORATION, a commercial printing company, has Immediate openings for experienced Die Cutter Operators at its northeast Philadelphia facility.

This is a full-time position. All shifts are available, including nights. Experience is absolutely required. Must be willing to work some overtime as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Set up, adjust and operate a die cutting machine
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to read and understand written instructions including those dealing with dimensions and quantity.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up
• Thorough knowledge of the set up, operating requirements, procedures, capabilities and limitations of the die cutting machine
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders or other job specifications containing requirements to complete the work and to maintain dimensional accuracy in accordance with instructions provided;
• Knowledge of the quality and machining requirements of various coated and uncoated types of paper stock.
• Skill in setting up and adjusting die cutter machine and to refine such adjustments for the weight, color, machinability and quality of paper stock being used
• Ability to monitor quality, output and productivity.
• Skill in using the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain the functional accuracy and operating conditions of the die cutter machines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 40" Bobst or similar die cutter experience.
• Proficient experience with die cutting and matrix set-up
• Foil stamping and embossing experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires successful completion of an apprenticeship program or three years of job related experience to be proficient in all phases of the work.
• Your resume must demonstrate experience in the position for which you are applying or it will not be considered.
