The Digital Solution Delivery organization at TJX focuses on the customer-driven experiences across the globe, including all of our eCommerce domains, mobile apps, loyalty programs, in-store digital experiences, and more. The IT Engineering Manager, DevSecOps, Automation & Tooling will collaborate extensively with our solution delivery, QA, Security and Operations functions. The IT Engineering Manager is part of TJX’s Digital IT Operations Organization, and in their role will help us to deliver on some of our key commitments and help to enable us for scalability and growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategies and roadmaps for operational tools and pipelines
• An influential leader who will rally multiple teams around a vision, and create an atmosphere where teams are empowered to deliver.
• Partner with our solution delivery Dev & QA stakeholders to drive data-driven DevSecOps improvements and capabilities..
• Partner and collaborate with leadership, business partners, and support team to appropriately assess and prioritize initiatives & objectives.
• Support the enablement and onboarding of teams to automation platforms and development pipelines from no pipelines.
• Be an advocate and partner for continuous improvement
• Partner with teams to improve services through rigorous non-functional definition, testing and release procedures
• Ensure issues with respect to performance or failed builds are addressed in a timely manner.
• Coach and mentor engineers to help them grow their skills and enhance their knowledge.
• Propose technically feasible solutions and set accurate expectations on efforts and timelines.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning;

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years overall IT experience with 2-3 years in a manager role
• 5+ years’ experience across these disciplines: application development, architecture, QA Automation, DevOps, Production Support
• Experience in an Agile/Scaled Agile Environment
• Working knowledge of Jenkins
• Ability to understand and communicate the business impact of technical issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in information systems or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of.NET, Linux and Windows Environments.
• Experience in Cloud Computing, Jira, Confluence.
• Experience following ITIL change management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail and/or e-Commerce experience.
• Performance Testing like HP LoadRunner, Soasta Cloud Test etc., or JMeter
• Hands-on scripting experience with either Akamai CDN, DevOps Automation, Splunk or a platform.
• Monitoring Tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Gomez, Keynote, Splunk, AlertSite, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and Oracle)
