Summary: Oversee the high-level management of planning, acquisition, real estate

development, LIHTC application, submission and implementation, asset management and

department expansion relating to quality single family and multifamily rental units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Low Income Housing Tax Credit (TDHCA) predevelopment, application development,

submission, review and financing closure management up until construction. Upon

construction oversees project closeout, occupancy and financial success through asset

management.

• Assist in high level predevelopment activities of the Deputy Director and Executive

Director.

• Oversees Every Step Counts Property Management of “NOAH” units.

• Responsible for property acquisition, real estate development and project management.

• Responsible for asset management of all multifamily (NOAH and LIHTC) projects.

• Works Directly with Construction Manager for successful LIHTC, NMTC, NSP, etc. new

construction and rehab projects.

• Provides monthly reports, yearly timelines, and is held accountable and responsible for

department success.

• Oversee potential expansion projects relating to affordable housing development.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or higher, and two to four

years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and

experience.

• Environmental, economic, social and institutional assessments, critical analysis,

conceptual design, policy and land use, zoning regulations and professional grant

writing.

• Economic and Industrial Development research and ability to provide viable

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position supervises 7-8 employees under the department of Real Estate

Development.
