Power BI Designer

_this is a contract for a dashboard designer to help through redesigning Power BI dashboards/reports and getting them modernized
_**work samples are required at time of submittal**

As a Power BI Analyst/Designer, you will collaborate with the Analytics Dept to help develop Power BI dashboards – that drive engagement and assist each department in making data-driven decisions. Including improving/reimagining existing dashboards, as well as development of new dashboards: whether for new asset classes or existing departments. This includes creating connections to new data sources, intuitive UI/UX designs, and analytical thinking to create meaningful visualizations and aggregations of data.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with various departments throughout the company to create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.

Maintain functionality and relevance of reports and problem solve as issues arise.

Combine raw information from different sources.

Develop, test, and deploy DAX (and Power Query) based scripts, queries, and functions in Power BI.

Create intuitive, elegant cross-platform UI/UX solutions to simplify complex data in Power BI.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Power BI

Power Query

DAX

2+ years of experience in Graphic (UI/UX) Design

Figma or other similar Design software

Web and mobile interface experience

Preferred:

Experience in Commercial Real Estate or other Business or Financial industries

Excel/SharePoint/Office 365 Proficiency

Creating/Editing Power BI Visuals

SQL, Python, or other Data Science proficiencies and/or skillsets.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fort Worth, TX 76109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
