Modern multi-specialty ( general and pediatric) dental office located in Westchester NY is currently seeking dental assistant to join our team.

Requirementsfor a dental assistant position is as follows:

• Preparing and arranging all instruments and materials required for treatment procedures
• Greeting and Preparing patient to receive care
• Assisting dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Providing postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
• Taking digital x-rays
• Making Preliminary Impressions
• Maintaining treatment areas in a clean and functional condition
• Recording diagnostic/treatment information, as relayed by the dentist, to patient records
• Monitoring and requesting dental supplies and equipment when needed.
• Discussing any dental problem or complaint a patient may have, take notes

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting experience of 2 or more years
• Professional appearance and a team player
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate knowledge of dental health education subject
• Must know basic computer skills (ex: Microsoft Office and Windows)
• Open dental software experience a plus
• Experience with Intraoral Scanners for digital impressions and 3D printer is plus
• Must stay until 6:00 p.m. or later if needed
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus
• Covid-19 vaccinated

Compensation is based on experience.

• Weekend availability

All pre scheduled patients are required to wear a mask, are pre-screened at the door, and rinse with hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse.
