Your Role as a Dental Assistant

Enjoy working with Students, Residents and Faculty. You’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients while assisting our learners in providing patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program OR one years’ experience as a chair side Dental Assistant
• Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency required or willingness to obtain by start date.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) card required from American Heart Association.
• Must have worked as a dental assistant in an advanced specialty within the last 5 years (if qualifying with experience)
