Fedex Pickup & Delivery Driver - $18/hour = $27/hour overtime rate
$800-$1000+/weekly salary depending on route and schedule.
Rocabox Inc. - New York ISP - We Are looking for two (2) more full time drivers for Watertown routes.
Job Summary:
Pick up and delivery driver for Fedex Ground & Home Delivery routes Watertown station.
Station Address is: 21043 County Route 200, Watertown, NY 13601
Pre-trip inspection on truck at station, load, organize and dispatch to deliver all packages on route.
We are looking for more local full time drivers, if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, or even Uber and Lyft please reach out. We are interested in fulltime and part time drivers!
Dispatch is usually between 8 am and usually no later than 9 am.
We require all New Hires to go through a PAID 2-day classroom style safety training as well as an additional 1-day behind the wheel driver training before being assigned to your full time route.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of delivery vehicle daily
- Load and arrange packages during delivery and pick ups
- Fill out all necessary documents & clock in
- Attend safety meetings & complete monthly online safety assignment
- Maintain clean vehicle
- Retrieve and maintain any delivery tools and documents
- Help neighboring routes when needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be 21 yrs. old or older
- Attend the 2 day in class safety training and 1 day behind the wheel safety training courses.
- Must have a current valid driver's license - Regular Class D
- No cell phone or electronic handheld tickets
- Must be comfortable driving a Transit Van sized vehicle
- Must be able to pass a drug test and get DOT physical
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs unassisted and 150lbs with dolly equipment
- Must have a clean DMV record
- Must be able to pass a FedEx driving test
