Job Details and Expectations
Job Description: As a delivery driver for the top delivery company in California,, The Last Mile National City LLC (LAMI), you will be delivering Amazon packages to residents and businesses around the greater National City and San Diego area from 10:30am-9pm. If you have current delivery experience, training will be waived. Excellent full time opportunity, not a seasonal job!.We provide all the tools you’ll need for the day: a company van, uniform, a device to log your packages, and a dispatcher to assist you as necessary throughout the day. Those with cargo van delivery experience a huge plus! While working hard and smart we will focus on integrity, collaboration and completeness excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Loading and unloading items from the vehicle.
• Providing excellent customer service Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Operating a mid-size van.
• Assisting other team members when needed

Attendance: It is essential that you show up on time to fulfill your scheduled shifts consistently. We have a strict attendance policy and expect that you abide by it.
Performance: You will receive paid training and continual support to grow as a delivery driver as well as additional responsibility opportunities.
Attitude: You’ll need to bring a positive attitude and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with our internal and external customers.

The Ideal Candidates

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have Drivers License : CDL a plus
• Delivery Driver experience required.
• Schedule flexibility a big plus!
• Route Time Currently: 10:30am- 9pm

Schedule
(LAMI) is looking to hire great employees first and foremost and this opportunity comes with full benefits :

• Full Time: This position is a minimum 5 days to six days a week. Each week you will have a stable schedule to where your days are designed to be 9 hours long, Employees working at least 30hrs a week will be offered full benefits*

Work hours & Location:

• 10:30am to 9pm (Approx)
• 901 Bay Marina Dr National City, San Diego 91950
• Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
• Salary: $19.00 to $23.00 /hour

Base pay:

• LAMI will pay $19.00 to 23.00 an hour on total hours worked based on experience.
• Pay will be reviewed periodically, usually every 3 months.

Bonuses:
Bonuses and recognition via performance and contests will be given to top individual and team performers on a weekly/monthly basis. The current LAMI team has received weekly incentives and monthly bonuses in 130 straight weeks and there are no signs indicating that it will end anytime soon.

Work Day:

• 9hrs (Route Time 10:30am- 9pm)

Pay Frequency:

• Bi weekly or Twice monthly

LAMI will offer medical, dental, and vision insurance to all our full-time employees and part-time employees working at least 30hrs per week, upon successful completion of 30 days of employment. Benefits are offered and optional with the ability to opt out.
