Matrix is the UK's Largest Independent Cutting Tool Supplier. Founded by Rob Donnelly and Mark Mills in 1989 to providing cutting tool solutions, cutting tools and associated products from a large network of world leading suppliers. Our large customer base includes some of the UK’s leading manufacturers and their sub-contractors that encompass various trades and industries. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join our team.
The position is 5 days per week Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week + overtime. Average week will be between 35 & 45 hours.
A small Peugeot partner van will be provided to deliver in the Midlands and Yorkshire areas.
- Delivery Driver Duties
- Delivering goods to customers on designated routes.
- Collect Matrix Tooling purchase orders from suppliers.
- Collect parcels from local Carriers UPS/DHL/FedEx
- Pre-Delivery Booking Goods in/out working within a team.
- Booking goods into Tool Vending systems.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of 60-mile radius of Nottingham.
- Good timekeeping skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Full UK driving licence with maximum of six points.
- Minimum of three years driving experience.
Training
When required employees are asked to attend additional training courses as required by the Business and their Line Manager.
