Position Purpose:

• The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their order in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Ensure all orders assigned to you are completed in a timely manner.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Obtaining accurate payment for each delivery
• Bring all cancelled and exchanged items back to office
• Notify General Manager immediately for any out of ordinary situations with customers
• Communicate any maintenance needs to the supervisor
• Accommodate customers special requests (to an extent)
• Ensure confidentiality and security of our customers
• Keep car clean and up to date on all insurance, registration & maintenance.
• Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by GDP Management
• Other minor duties, as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain neat, professional and clean appearance and practices
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Refined time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time
• Ability to work independently
• Available to work varied hours/days, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events.
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must be over 21
• Must have a vehicle 2014 or newer (as required by state laws)
• Must posses a valid drivers license, insurance and registration.
• Must have clean driving record free of accidents, moving violations, or points.
• Must have your own smartphone
• Must be able to pass a background check & fingerprinted

Preferences:

• Previous delivery experience
• Pride in quality and quantity of work
• Knowledge of the Sacramento and the surrounding areas

Pay:

• $15.50 per hour
• Gas mileage reimbursement
• $20 per work day for wear and tear on vehicle
• Tip money
• 20% discount on all products
• 401k Offered after 1 year of employment
