Job description

As a delivery driver and member of our setup crew, the ideal candidate will be responsible for safe load, unload, and delivery of event rental equipment to include tables and chairs, dishware and linens, staging, flooring, inflatable games, and tents and canopies. You will work alongside a crew of 2-to-6 people to ensure that weddings, parties, picnics, corporate events, and social opportunities are delivered and retrieved within a reasonable yet punctual time frame.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated with good communication skills, organizational and detail oriented, punctual, safe, and able to handle stressful situations with ease. You will need to be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds consistently and to handle Alabama weather conditions. Experience is helpful but not required, as we will train you on proper install and maintenance of our versatile line of event rental products.

Cross-training is provided so that candidates see the "big picture," and this cross-training also enables full time employment throughout the slow season. This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime available during peak seasons. We are closed on Sundays, so any necessary Sunday work is offered as voluntary overtime. After a temporary probationary period, employees are offered paid holidays, dental options, and retirement package information. Paid vacation time is accrued after one full year of employment.
