Job description
- Transporting vehicles between local car dealerships, repair facilities and auctions.
- Distance transportation of customer vehicles may be required.
- Start location varies between Winter Haven, Bartow and Auburndale depending on workload.
- At the time of posting, there will be available positions between 2 to 4 days per week Monday through Friday, and very occasionally, a weekend day.
- The day generally starts at 9:00am and commences at end of daily duties.
- The usual work day is between 4-7 hours, but may require an 8+ hour day, depending on workload.
- This position is classified as part time self employed (1099), and pays $11.00 per hour.
Requirements:
- A clean driver's license is required, and candidates must be able to pass a background screen and drug test.
- Candidate should have legible writing and basic math skills.
- Our drivers mostly work on a out-call system, so the position would not suit applicants living a long distance from our base sites in Polk County.
- This is a great opportunity for retired persons.
