We are a local Group Family Daycare, licensed in New York State, and we are looking for a fun, loving, energetic, outgoing, responsible person who enjoys and takes pride in working with children!

We are seeking a Day Care Assistant to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner
• Implement creative activities and curriculum to assist with child development
• Create a positive, fun, loving and nurturing environment for children
• Keeping records of each child's progress, interests and issues that may occur
• Ensuring younger children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children
• Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the daycare throughout the day

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with childcare or other related fields
• Fun, energetic, outgoing, and responsible
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Valid Social Security / Tax ID Number and NYS License
• Ability to communicate efficiently in English

Preferable: Valid CPR & First Aid, additional languages (Spanish speaking language a plus!)

We offer biweekly payments with W-2, workers compensation, and disability.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
