About us

We are a home daycare located in Markham, Illinois. We have a State of Illinois and a City of Markham license. We specialize in childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for your child, while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.

We are looking for individuals with childcare experience to join our team. The Daycare Assistant will be responsible for assisting teachers by monitoring children, preparing activities and meals, and checking on individual children during nap time. The right candidate will have a positive attitude and enjoy working with children in order to make our daycare center a safe environment that is conducive to learning.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and fun environment for children.
• Be reliable and trustworthy.
• Read children's facial expressions and tone of voice appropriately.
• Promptly attend to the needs of children in your care.
• Make sure children are sufficiently fed, rested, and clean.
• Discipline children who are acting out.
• Be sensitive to the needs of special education students in your care.
• Provide parents with any relevant information about their children in your care.

Schedule:

• From 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm Monday - Friday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
