Responsibilities:
Data Entry Specialist

  • Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Day)
  • Rate: $18.00 to $19.00 (DOE)
  • Temp Only – 6 to 12 months
  • 2 Open Positions

Qualifications:

Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting financial data into various databases, ensuring that all information is complete and error-free. The successful candidate will have excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Enter financial data into various databases, spreadsheets, and other software applications accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review and verify all data to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files of financial data
  • Identify and correct errors in data entry and reporting
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets as required
  • Communicate with other departments to obtain missing or incomplete data
  • Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for data entry and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail (60 WPM)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.


Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry or a related field

Working Environment

  • Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Successful completion of the pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol testing and criminal background investigation required following offer of employment.
