Job Description

We are looking for a math-obsessed candidate to be our Data Coordinator, supporting several trading programs we publish. The ideal candidate is a “power computer user”, rock-solid with math and incredibly detail oriented. In a perfect world, the candidate has experience and/or interest in the financial markets. Working knowledge and experience with Excel, statistics and other areas of financial math will move you up to the top of the list!

We are looking for a self-motivated person with the ability to retrieve, record and maintain databases, spreadsheets and various documents with time-sensitive data. The Data Coordinator will be responsible for logging daily tracking data from various systems, analyzing the findings and focusing on managing different data sets all day, every day (Mon-Fri). The job entails data entry, data manipulation (formulas, formatting, verification automation), booking trades, booking orders, transposing data from one platform to another, working with advanced spreadsheets and proprietary data systems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize database programs and run data queries while maintaining data integrity
  • Execute secure and effective data procedures
  • Collaborate with other team member, technical specialists, project managers, and data analysts
  • Manage and oversee the translation of figures into other languages, and/or metrics when necessary
  • Maintain the inventory of servers such as flash drives, storage disks and other data storage devices
  • Ability to scan large volumes of data in a short time frame
  • Perform collection, interpretation and recording of data in accordance with company’s guidelines and standards.
  • Perform data validation and storage of various project documents.
  • Review project documents and make necessary revisions.
  • Update company website with recent data records.
  • Provide data management updates in all internal and external meetings as required.
  • Analyze data for quality improvement purposes.
  • Prepare, sort and organize data for reporting, meeting and presentations.
  • Ensure data management procedures comply with standard company policies.
  • Prepare and submit data required for audits.

Requirements

  • Must be able to be physically present in Ponte Vedra, FL office Mon-Fri 9a-5p ET
  • Proven ability to navigate databases and extract files
  • Outstanding analytical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail & solution-driven mentality
  • Up-to-date with modern databases and technologies
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to self-check work and troubleshoot any issues
  • Self-reliant to navigate various computer software programs
  • Minimum 2-years experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of finance, trading and direct response publishing a plus (not required but must be willing to learn)
  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant fields a plus (not required)
