The University of Brighton is seeking to recruit a Data Analyst (Student Systems and Data). This is an exciting opportunity to join the recently expanded Student Systems, Data and Business Improvement team based in Academic Registry. Working with the Data and Reporting Manager as well as business and process owners and other colleagues across the University, you will be responsible for the compilation of various statutory returns, in particular Data Futures and HESES, to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of those returns. Using the University’s student record system (SITS) as well a range of statistical, visualisation and reporting tools, you will also provide data analysis, validation, reporting and insights relating to student data to inform decision-making.
Committed to a high standard of customer service, proactive and solution-oriented in your approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of colleagues and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality data and reporting service providing accurate, timely and accessible data, as well as taking an active role in responding to changes in internal and external reporting needs.
