o Evaluate application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, developing solutions, and implementing them with the assistance of the team.

ITA is seeking a Data Analyst.to join the team at our HQ office in Newport News, VA.
ITA Data Solutions Division requires a full-time Data Analyst with a Secret or greater clearance supporting various customer focused software development projects.
Your duties will include:
Work closely with the development teams by contributing to the design of customer mission, information, and/or operational support systems (Solutions);- Perform data analysis and data science on various datasets related to Solutions.
- Use the following agile software methodologies and development to deliver solutions:
o Support the definition, design, and implementation of Solutions driven by agile methodologies.
o Create scripts and/or programs templates to automate analysis.
o Evaluate application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, developing solutions, and implementing them with the assistance of the team.
Your additional responsibilities will include:
- Working in a Team to perform programming assignments across multiple projects.
- Developing and/or maintaining moderately complex to complex programs.
- Communicating effectively with project Team concerning project issues (e.g., data, technical, timelines), and
- Support Team in meeting meet deadlines and milestones.
- Pro-actively informs supervisor of issues/risks to the project and potential remediation.
- Interact with customers regarding project standards, programming conventions, programming specifications and file transfers.
Your Required Skills must include:
- Ability to work successfully within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to write and communicate effectively.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to the changing requirements.
- Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities.
You Minimum Qualifications must include:
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent education.
- Two plus years experience working on data analytics tools and projects.
- Knowledge of data science software (e.g., Anaconda Suite)
- One or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent education.
- Programming experience within defense or national security contracting base.
- Familiarity with BI reporting tools (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, QLIK, and Business Objects)
