Summary:

This candidate will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to document business & information needs, acquiring data from internal & external sources, and report analysis and development. The candidate will understand functional systems and technical issues associated with data collection, analysis, and reporting.

The Analyst collaborates with Product Owner / Team and Data Engineering to deliver user stories focused on data, reporting, and configuring related systems; or performing other functional / technical tasks in a timely manner as per set quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates effectively with the agile team to configure software, reports, and analytics systems
• Supports the team in executing highly technical tasks according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration
• Participates in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impediments
• Ensures design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements
• Develops relationships by listening and understanding, anticipating, and providing solutions to business partner needs, and prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Create reports, dashboards, and other visualizations on data
• Performs adhoc reporting, data extraction, and analysis
• Coordinates user acceptance testing with stakeholders
• Provides production support and helps drive down technical debt
• Completes required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, service, and business teams
• Develop documentation and provide training to users as appropriate
• Define potential improvement changes to resolve errors, prevent the recurrence of problems or improve system maintainability and stability

Mandatory Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience
• Experience with of SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tooling
• Basic understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development techniques
• Basic knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practices
