GENERAL NATURE OF JOB DUTIES
Provide services consisting of recovery, environmental support, and resource coordination to assist a youth/family in
accessing services, building resiliency, and supporting the youth's emotional and functional growth and development. The
service activities include: Assistance to the youth and family/responsible caregivers in the facilitation and coordination of
the Individual Resiliency Plan (IRP), including providing skills support in the youth/family’s development of personal goals
and objectives; Assisting the youth/family in managing or preventing crisis situations, developing coping skills and
practicing emotional regulation skills. Services are provided during traditional school hours and after school. Individual will
work within the Dade County School system primarily however, as the program needs grow, they may work in other
school systems within the four counties of Dade, Chattooga, Catoosa, and Walker County schools. This is a full-time
position and primary work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Twenty-one years of age, High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of good driving history, along with any
combination of skills and/or training in facilitation and/or experience working with youth, ability to work remote and with
limited supervision in the community setting. Flexibility of schedule is a must.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Peer Support -Youth (CPS-Y) OR Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience working
with youth
