Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.


Additionally, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for a controlled billet in accordance with DoD Instruction 5210.42
Personnel Reliability Program (PRP)


REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:

  • DoD 8570 IAT level II certification (CompTIA Security +, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, Linux+, MCSA, VMWare.)

REQUIRED WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF HIRE:

  • MTA 98-365 or HBSS certification or must be completed within 3 months from date of employment

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire and Top Secret, obtainable within reasonable time based requirements. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities; U.S. citizenship is required.

In our highly collaborative and global environment, you’ll analyze the effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources and participate in the tactical planning for completion of identified project segment. Essentially, you’ll perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems as well as perform technical activities which impact the proposal, system level design, detail design and manufacture of advanced electronics systems.


As a member of our Cyber Security Work Force Specialist team,
you will support the system security design effort, security requirements analysis, and security requirements down to the program elements. Utilizing your expert knowledge of cyber security technology and trends, you will execute the development of program required security documentation to support the generation of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) (or Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation).

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields

DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Call-In status is required after normal working hours, on weekends and holiday on a rotating basis
  • Required to Qualify Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to perform sensor preventive and corrective maintenance indoors and outdoors in secure areas
  • Required to complete Cyber Security workforce (CSWF) certification and system administrator qualifications to perform minor preventive and corrective maintenance on network systems to include AC&D system in secure areas.
  • Serves as a front-line interface to users with technical issues
  • Duties may include installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications and training users
  • Provide direct support to Server System Administrators responsible for the day-to-day support of Server services and Operating Systems
  • Required to work in teams of two or more during all maintenance operations
  • Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, and understand the necessary interfaces
  • Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions
  • Can be expected to lead, direct, organize technical and system administer work
  • Supports continuous improvement initiative
  • Some Travel Required
  • Required to Maintain continuing education for acquired IT (40hrs) and technical certification
  • Advanced IT certifications will be required throughout employment

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Develops resolutions to problems of limited scope
  • Work is closely monitored. Follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures
  • Requires an understanding of Server based operating systems
  • Understanding of access, permissions and security that gives the clients the access to the data they need to perform their daily activities
  • Must learn the current AC&D system
  • Contacts are frequent with individuals representing outside organizations, and/or individuals of significant importance within the company
  • Strong proficiency in application and interpretation of complex specifications, requirements, standards and practices

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $92,100.00 - USD $99,600.00 /Yr. Company Overview:
