Our Cyber Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestiture (MA&D) Lead, reporting to the Director of Cyber Strategy & Transformation, will drive due diligence activities and be part of a cross-functional Digital Technology (DT) team to deliver business value and to manage cyber risk during these important strategic activities. In this role, the Cyber MA&D Associate Director will build and lead a team to define our support model and our services throughout the MA&D lifecycle.

Strong candidates will bring exceptional communications, project management skills, and use CORE, our corporate operating system, to deliver excellence. Successful candidates will help continually evolve and improve the cyber organization, so we are best positioned to deliver excellence while enabling our talent. They will help the organization mature through consistent documentation and process improvement.

Keys to success:

  • Develop close partnerships with due diligence technical leads in RTX Enterprise Services (ES), across Collins DT, and our customers, the Strategic Business Units (SBU) in scope

  • Develop insights from these partnerships to design and continuously improve organizational processes and operating models to better meet the needs of our business for these critical growth and development objectives.

This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Our MA&D focal, driving our due diligence services maturity journey, will be responsible for two primary functions:

1. Cyber Due Diligence:

  • Serve as the technical lead to support ongoing MA&D initiatives and manage a portfolio of current acquisition and divestiture activities.

  • Serve as our organization’s cyber subject matter expert, part of a larger Collins MA&D team

  • Responsible for developing the cyber strategy, setting the operational plan, and driving execution from first notification of a business decision to sell or purchase to Day One, and post-Day One

  • Partner, post-Day One, with transition services team(s) to support the entity throughout the transition services agreement (TSA) period.

2. MA&D Services Definition:

  • Design and build a diverse team to support ongoing MA&D activities, while developing a portfolio of cyber-MA&D services.

  • Define cyber-MA&D services and establish an operating model for this new team

  • Develop due diligence playbooks

  • Develop and implement a metrics program to measure progress against maturity goals and business objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

  • Substantial technology experience in the majority of the following areas: IT organization, IT processes, applications (custom-developed and off-the-shelf), infrastructure, cloud technology, and cyber-security; and has a keen understanding of how technology enables business strategy

  • Demonstrated program management skills to actively manage a portfolio of technical projects to meet business objectives

  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean process improvement methodologies. (six sigma, process improvement, etc.)

  • Experience working with cross functional teams.

  • People leadership skills—transformational, situational, coaching, talent management, skills development and growth, strong emotional intelligence, trust, leading directly and through influence, and confidentiality

  • Strong financial acumen and budgetary planning experience

  • Demonstrated capacity to solicit, acquire and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear and concise executive briefings

  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, analytical, time management, organizational, and relationship management skills; executive presence and polished communication skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making decisions with sub-optimal/incomplete information.

  • Ability to analyze and challenge current working methods to create improvements in processes and result.

  • Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed team.

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
