Who are we:

Hi! We are Jetbuilt. We are a fast-growing software company that primarily services the commercial and residential AV industry.

We are a fully remote company, so all positions work from home (or from anywhere you'd like!)

We're a fun team that works hard and plays hard.

We are looking for a customer support specialist to start within the next few weeks. Part time during training, moving to full time once trained.

Job duties include:

- Becoming a Jetbuilt expert so you can help answer users' questions

- Monitoring our support chat system and responding to support requests as they come in

- Writing clear, helpful support articles

- Testing and reporting bugs to the development team

- Reporting feature requests

- Updating users about important features and fixes

- Taking care of small billing and administrative tasks

- Finding solutions and workarounds when users run into problems

- Parsing out spreadsheets/data entry

- Generally following up with everything so nothing falls through the cracks

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Is smart and able to pick up new software easily

- Has experience working in customer support

- Has excellent spreadsheet skills (Excel, Numbers, CSVs, etc.)

- Is naturally inclined to help people

- Learns quickly

- Pays attention to detail

- Is incredibly organized

- Is a problem solver

- Is self-motivated

- Has excellent written communication skills (including spelling and grammar)

- Has a sense of humor and plays well with others

- Is comfortable with technology - we use Intercom, Slack, Github, Basecamp, Zoom, Close, etc. (If you don't yet have experience with these platforms, you will at least need to be comfortable enough with technology to pick these up quickly).

- Has a somewhat flexible schedule to cover the support desk (though your schedule week to week will be consistent).

Our primary support platform is chat, so excellent typing and written communication skills are a must. We don't currently offer phone support, though occasional Zoom calls/screen shares may be needed. Being comfortable with speaking on the phone will be necessary from time to time.

We are a small company, so there is plenty of potential for upward mobility for the right candidate!

Pay: $17+ per hour DoE
