Customer Fulfillment Specialist

Position Summary

Responsible for receiving, processing and ensuring successful order fulfillment on a day to day basis. As the first line of contact for order management, responsible to communicate cross functionally and trouble shooting for pricing, supply chain, and logistics issues that hinder successful order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage order fulfillment process internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the timely and successful order entry and follow up for customer orders consistent with company document control procedures.
  • Owns the internal communication process to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for keeping customers communications up to date and delivering exceptional customer service for day to day order processing.
  • Primary point of contact for customer replenishment team and responsible for building long-term relationships with customers.
  • Coordinate the closing of month end sales with Finance as required
  • Ensure all external sales orders are entered promptly in the system, completed with accuracy, and follow all company document control procedures.
  • Post daily sales order, investigate for shortages/overages, document and communicate as appropriate with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with a cross functional work groups as necessary to resolve customer order related issues and meet customers’ expectations on order fulfillment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred
  • CPG experienced preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in problem solving, and delivering solutions cross-functionally and to the customer
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-Motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
