Responsibilities & Duties:

A Customer Service Representative liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care. • Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care
• Uses software systems to communicate effectively; keeps a record of all patient contacts
• Answers phone calls, returns voicemails, routes calls to proper team members, and corresponds with patients via email
• Ensures complete and accurate patient registration, including demographics and insurance information
• Performs referral operations such as order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior authorization, and scheduling
• Ensures that referrals and other patient requests are addressed or processed in a timely manner
• Identifies patient needs or desires to recommend appropriate products or services

About You -

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years customer service
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous healthcare experience preferred; Previous DME experience a plus
• 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
