Schatz Bearing Corporation manufactures specialty ball bearings used by various industries with high standards for quality and performance, including Aerospace, Machine Tool, Automation and Robotics, and Medical Equipment. We are seeking a full-time customer service representative who can provide responsiveness and professionalism to our customers.
This is an excellent position for experienced individuals who are eager to grow with our company.
After successful completion of 90 day introduction period, benefits include 10 paid holidays, paid sick days, medical, dental, life insurance, employer 401K match, paid vacation time, and more.
- Responsible for receiving and responding to customer requests for pricing, delivery, and order status information.
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to provide timely responses and a high level of service to our customers.
- Proactively manage key customer contracts, orders, and RFQ’s (request for quotes) to insure the highest level of service.
- Process and maintain order and production information within our Vantage ERP system.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Preferred (High School Diploma or equivalent required)
- 2+ years work experience in Manufacturing Customer Service

Experience in bearing industry or similar manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP systems or manufacturing scheduling systems
- Focus on customer satisfaction and a sense of urgency
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access)
- Good Interpersonal skills/Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment and build rapport with external and internal customers
