R3 Safety, a division of Bunzl, is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Fairfield, OH, office. The Customer Service Representative will answer inquiries on customer accounts, investigate any issues and find resolutions in a timely manner. This position will serve as a liaison between the sales staff and the customer. This is a hybrid role with the ability to work two days/week remotely and three days/week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Answer customer inquiries
• Enter and successfully process orders (50-100 daily)
• Investigate customer problems and/or complaints to successful resolution
• Maintain relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional service
• Function as a liaison between customer service and other departments to provide product pricing and product research
• Produce monthly order guides
• Expedite orders as required
• Work effectively in a team environment to meet business goals and objectives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
• Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience with AS400 operating system a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in distribution industry is preferred
• Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service skills
