JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Customer Service Manager will take ownership of the Division customers, it will provide consultative advice and drive customer engagement. The Senior Customer Service Manager will function as the crucial link between customers, the sales team, operation team and our product development team.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Comply with Boral Safety Policies
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the value proposition of the Stone division products and process as well as the existing and future needs of the customer
  • Solve customers’ problems by building partnerships, driving product/feature adoption, and ensuring they actualize the value proposition from their investment
  • Develop a strategic and granular understanding of our customers in order to ensure their inventories and product availability are aligned with their long-term goals and are being met and/or exceeded on a consistent basis \
  • Accurately identify risk of customer’s inventory availability and put value-add actions in place to mitigate possible issues
  • Champion the voice of the customer internally by giving product feedback to product development and sales teams in an effective manner for improvements
  • Partner with product development and marketing to produce continually enhanced industry specific assets that drive customer engagement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including but not limited to marketing, sales, operations, finance and legal to ensure operational excellence


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Have great communication skills to be able to explain complex concepts clearly and efficiently and give consultative advice to help customers grow their performance
  • Have an impressive track record of meeting and exceeding account or revenue growth targets on a consistent basis
  • Have professional spoken and written English
  • Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences and industry events


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in functional role

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:


  • Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
  • Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
  • Prolong standing or in stationary position
  • Complete repetitive movements
  • Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
  • Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
