Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative support for department managers as well as maintaining and generating quotes for clientele.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status.
  • Processes customer orders/changes according to the policies and procedures.
  • Processes customer quotes according to the policies and procedures.
  • Performing misc. office duties and projects as needed for various departments (Engineering, Customer Service, Purchasing, Accounting, Production)
  • Data entry.
  • Follow up with customers.
  • Experience exercising independent judgement and discretion.
  • Handle and deliver on competing priorities and deliverables to meet customer and business needs.
  • Escalate customer concerns within the guidelines to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to work independently and within an evolving team environment, be adaptable in understanding processes.
  • Provides general administrative support to assigned Department.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification Requirement:

1. Minimum 1– 3 years maximum of office experience (prefer customer service).

2. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

4. Professional and friendly with excellent phone etiquette and pleasant attitude.

5. Detail oriented.

6. Ability to maintain confidential information.

7. Dependable and resourceful.

8. Well-organized and able to meet deadlines.

9. Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.

10. Quick learner, open and able to adapt with new tasks and processes.

11. Eager to excel and contribute to the team.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit and work at the computer for extended periods of time
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
