Customer Service Position:

This is a newly formed Member Services group in an established and successful organization with a potential leadership opportunity. We are looking for professionals experienced in financial, investment insurance products, and/or employee benefits. An insurance license is a requirement but can be acquired within 60 days for the appropriate candidates.

Compensation:

For the first twelve weeks, which will consist of training and initial member contact responsibilities, you will receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee or commission; whichever is higher. After twelve weeks, your compensation is commission based only. Commission is based upon the number of qualified referrals generated and passed to our established appointment setting team. There are also additional and enhanced commission opportunities that involve a direct sales hand-off to an existing agent.

The mission of this group is to provide world class service to our existing Federal client base through ongoing annual reviews and periodic campaigns. The goal is to establish a value added relationship with our clients to obtain referrals that can be provided to our appointment setters. You will be provided with tools and programs that incent our clients to provide those referrals.

Existing Federal benefits knowledge is a plus but not required. You will be trained in all areas of the Federal benefits and retirement systems as well as fixed indexed annuities and Social Security expertise in order to provide the highest possible value add to our clients.

This is a 1099 position. Total compensation is typically more than $75,000 per year for a talented, motivated individual. You will be paid weekly by direct deposit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent work experience is required
  • Prior financial services experience required specializing in annuity and/or life products
  • 2 plus years experience providing customer service or support to clients
  • Previous call center experience is a plus
  • Work history which demonstrates stability and aptitude for advancement
  • Strong PC skills
  • Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Self-motivated individuals who are results and customer service oriented, with demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with clients and produce qualified referrals to our appointment setting team
  • Ability to work remote in a professional dedicated home office environment

Responsibilities:

  • The Member Service Representative will be responsible for providing members with high quality, individualized phone support, processing and satisfying inbound requests for information, and conducting outgoing campaigns to ensure we provide world class service to our members which in turn drive additional new client opportunities.
  • Representatives must deliver accurate and prompt resolution of any requests that arise, and relay necessary information to the members as well as our agents and internal staff.
  • Researches and analyzes requests to ensure successful outcomes and or resolution.
  • Develops and fosters relationships with members by becoming a dedicated resource.
  • Develops broad understanding of Federal benefits and retirement systems.
  • Develops broad and deep understanding of index based annuities and across several different carriers.
  • Handles escalated telephone calls to assist members and internal agents with problem resolution.
  • Serves as a resource for internal agents and staff on topics relating to annuities and Federal benefits and retirement processes.
  • Your role will be to create warm referrals from our existing members as a result of providing ongoing value added services
