What we need:

  • We are adding Customer Experience Specialists to our team in Muscatine, IA!

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will manage all aspects of customer relationships to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. You will provide technical and non-technical problem resolution to customers by performing question diagnosis and utilizing appropriate resources while embracing continuing learning and improvement opportunities. As a Customer Experience Specialist you will perform a variety of duties including answering questions regarding order status, pricing, contracts, shipments, product specifications, etc., while proactively seeking creative solutions to customer questions to stay ahead of the competition and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Utilize communication strategies to partner with customers and understand the root cause of issues and investigate options for resolution.
  • Drive consistent high-quality work while being efficient and effective in developing strategies to organize and prioritize workload, track on-going customer requests, and complete timely professional follow-up via phone or email.
  • Build relationships with both internal and external customers by exercising sound independent judgement, helping to develop the Customer Experience brand and advocate to resolve customer concerns.
  • Provide support to team members, brainstorm new ways to improve processes and provide resources for continued team development.
  • Evaluate, identify, and implement ideas to improve Customer Experience processes and participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
  • Enter essential data into business systems to complete necessary functions such as: service requests, part replacements, product orders, etc.
  • Utilize resources such as price lists, specification guides, product prints and electronic product resources (Synergy/HON Ready) to find information to answer product questions and develop tools to continue learning about new processes and products.
  • Consistently achieve aggressive individual and team goals.
  • Embrace continuous learning with the capacity to accept continuous change.
  • Utilize resources effectively across the organization to drive intended results.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

What you have:

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-year experience of relevant business environment required.

What you're good at:

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required.
  • Intermediate experience utilizing software programs such as Microsoft Office required.
  • Have a proven track record of thinking “outside the box” to implement creative solutions for customers required

What else:

  • Primary working location will be in an office environment where low volume noise is on-going.
  • Sitting/standing at workstation for up to the entire scheduled workday.
  • Majority of office time spent on a computer system.
  • No special safety equipment is needed.
