About the Opportunity
The Customer Engagement Manager will play a critical role in continuously improving the customer experience by solving problems thru new solutions. This position is responsible for leveraging knowledge on Fuel Management technology and software as you work with customers who operate commercial and industrial fueling operations.

As Customer Engagement Manager, you will use your strong collaborative skills to work with cross functional teams to deliver excellent customer service and sales of new and existing hardware and software products. This position reports to the Marketing Director and is remote.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Serve as liaison and single contact between Gasboy and large commercial accounts and formulate strategy for each assigned customer engagement and track.
• Lead efforts to respond to requests for information and proposals and strive to maximize revenue and profitability for each customer engagement.
• Negotiation of software implementation and services contracts.
• Track contracts and cycles for price renewals for assigned products and accounts and lead pricing negotiation.
• Track and manage sales funnel for customer engagements.
• Provide project management, when necessary, to managed customer deployments of Gasboy hardware and software solutions.

WHO YOU ARE

• 5 years of experience in account management.
• Desire to grow in customer facing roles/functions (marketing, sales, customer service, etc.)
• Strong technical fluency and aptitude. Must be able to engage in technical discussions with customers, internal engineers, and industry experts. Excellent communicator with ability to coordinate/facilitate differing views/perspectives from cross-functional team members. Must be able to obtain organizational buy-in and support to initiatives and motivate individuals, both direct reports and in-direct reports to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, able to distill what is truly important to customers, differentiate and confirm the difference between customer wants and needs and the associated economic value; able to build and position customer specific compelling value propositions.
• Preferred: Experience in account management for Point of Sale (POS) service, POS engineering, POS product management, POS marketing, POS sales.
• Travel 25 – 30%.
