We're seeking qualified local individuals for our Facility Custodian/ Maintenance position located in California City, CA. This position will provide support and upkeep to the facility while working under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Shift hours are: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM M-F ** Training will consist of four weeks and will cover all shifts.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Perform all custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Perform light building and maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, patching walls, painting, hanging pictures, etc.
• Clean all facility offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, etc.
• Empty trash, vacuum, dust, sanitize, mop
• Maintain custodial supplies
• Keep daily logs of offices, garages, labs, grounds, and equipment, for safety and functionality and note repairs needed
• Buff polish Facility Floors
• Perform all other duties as requested

All work will be done in compliance with all corporate, state, and federal rules and regulations including all EPA, Hazmat, OSHA, and CAL OSHA.

Required Qualifications:

• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as powered and unpowered hand tools
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Work well with minimal supervision
• Abide by and acknowledge all safety practices in keeping with high safety standards
• skilled with hand tools and safe use
• clean driving record- Valid driver's license

Years of Experience:

1-2 Years preferred

Level of Education / Certifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Forklift certification is highly desired
