Job description

The Aplington-Parkersburg Community School District is looking for a first shift custodian in the Aplington Building. The custodian would start at 5:00 or 5:30 AM. Some overtime may occur during snow removal or if the individual is looking to clean up after home activities.

Obtaining a CDL is encouraged but not required.

The person must be a self starter, take great pride in their work and be able to communicate and work with both adults and students.

Maintenance skills are an advantage and cleaning is essential.

Benefits are offered for this position as it is a year round 40 hour a week position including IPERS.

We will begin immediate interviews and continue until the position is full. We are hoping to have a person hired and started by May 1, 2023.
