Role Summary:
The role of a janitor is to keep the workplace clean, organized and disinfected.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
- Clean the interior of warehouse including sweeping and mopping of aisles and dock area.
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
- Stock and maintain cleaning inventory.
- Empty trash and recycling bins in warehouse and office.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in office as needed.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Wash and clean windows as needed.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Help in clean-up of warehouse spills / leaks.
- Clean and maintain the break areas after breaks and lunch.
- Other duties as assigned.
