Job description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that the building is clean including warehouse, bathrooms, entrances, office spaces, stairwells, break rooms, cafeteria, executive lunchroom, coffee bars, and sanitize touch points.
- Full time position, Day Shift. Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm with overtime as required
- Will schedule and work on special cleaning projects as needed
- Regular inspection of safety equipment
- Assist with handyman maintenance jobs, as required
- Ensure that night shift contractors perform jobs as required
- Provide a central point of communication for various departments in the company to ensure all janitorial tasks are performed on a regular basis
- Organize supply rooms using 5S methods
- Order and maintain supplies
- Will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. – ability to tactfully handle difficult situations
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to handle interruptions and multiple tasks throughout the day
- Ability to focus on details
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- High School Diploma
