Position Overview
This position performs a wide variety of semi-skilled tasks related to the custodial care of the office areas as well as the plant floor. Performs routine custodial duties and other semi-skilled duties as assigned.
Schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:45 am to 2:15 pm.
Essential Job Functions
- Operates Company equipment in the performance of the work and completes daily checklists
- Performs all janitorial duties, including mopping/sweeping of floors, dusting office furniture, vacuuming rugs, dumping trash containers, cleaning company lunchroom, locker areas, offices, and plant wide restroom areas
- Maintain offices and relocate office furniture as needed
- Maintains a daily record of worked performed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Assist with month-end inventory
- Detailing equipment such as pumps, coater, air compressors, etc.
- Cleaning glass walls around coater and tempering production areas
Requirements
- The ability to adhere to the company’s policies, rules and regulations, according to the employee’s handbook.
- General knowledge of appropriate building maintenance and janitorial duties.
- General knowledge of common hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform the physical labor required for the task. Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to recognize safety hazards.
