Ivybrook Academy Cedar Park is currently seeking a passionate preschool administrator for our school campus. Job Qualifications:
- At least two years of early childhood education experience are required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom
- Experience in teaching Montessori methods is preferred
- Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, publisher, and powerpoint
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Some Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting.
- Plan and drive marketing events and campaigns along with Director and build relations with community.
- Assist Director in maintaining license for school.
- Guide and support staff with curriculum and classroom needs.
- Conduct weekly curriculum meetings with classroom teachers to review and build proper lesson plans for the classroom.
- Help manage the operation of the school in the Director’s absence and handle licensing visits
- Communicate to parents on school updates like a weekly newsletter, school events, etc.
- Work with Director for smooth arrival and dismissal of students.
- Answers parent concerns at reception, and resolves by phone, by email, and in person.
- Assist staff with planning and execution of special calendar events for children/families.
- Ability to step into and assist the classroom in case of need.
- Help Director with staff professional development/training programs, planning and execution.
- Develops an atmosphere of support for the school within the community
- Help with any school events as necessary

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
