Expressions Jewelry, located in the heart of Colonial Heights, has served thousands of loyal customers since 2001. We are specialized in jewelry/watch full services, precious metal trading, customized design, etc. Expressions’ team is passionate, kind and professionally committed, and most importantly, obsessed with high standards of customer service.

Expressions is looking for a full-time crew member, who will have a direct and important impact to Expressions’ everyday operation by interacting with both Expressions team members and customers from varied backgrounds. Expressions only hire the very best, you will become an elite Expressionist, and we will train you to become a jewelry master.

What You Will Do: a crew member’s duties include, but not limited to:

With Our Customer: responsible for answering customer’s inquiries in person or via phone/email; resolving/escalating customer’s complaints; creating/maintaining/protecting customer’s data in our system; collecting customer’s feedback; receiving/finalizing customer’s work orders.

With Our Store: responsible for inventory control with Expressions’ vendors, retail space maintenance, risk and security control/management.

With Our Sales Team: responsible for warm transferring customer to our sales associate when needed; educating customers about current sales/promotions; assisting sales team with advertising campaigns.

With Our Jewelers: responsible for managing/monitoring workflow; communicating with customers on behalf of jewelers; locating potentially missing/lost work orders.

What We are Looking for:

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1–2 year(s) of experience in administrative role.
• Minimum 1-2 year(s) of direct customer service and cash handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and ability to navigate database application(s).
• Exceptional level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication.
• High level of detail orientation and logical thinking.
• Ability to work with retail store hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multitask and to perform different tasks based on business needs.
• Open-mindedness and a learning mindset.
• Must have work authorization in the United States and Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A college degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Jewelry Study.
• Prior experience in jewelry retail industry is a strong plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Fully Covid vaccinated.
