Job description
The Credit Card Operations Supervisor manages the personnel of the credit card operations department and is responsible for day-to-day operations in one or more areas, including card issuance, exchange processes, and merchant deposit processing.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as client consultant – be able to make product recommendations based on “as-is” processes and policies
  • Develop and maintain product descriptions that describe each product offering, including how the products work from start to finish
  • Develop training materials and aids
  • Ensuring competitive advantage of product construct, pricing, and features
  • Understand the competitive environment and recommend plans & tactics to capitalize on any change to meet overall business objectives and optimize risk and return
  • Ensure the assigned product(s) are properly marketed and supported via available channels
  • Development of interest and fee-based pricing in support of the goal of optimizing the profitability of the assigned product(s)
  • Identify, develop and execute defined objectives that will ensure customers’ payment needs are met
  • Ensure the assigned product(s) are aligned to the business objectives and desired customer & employee experience, and contribute to increasing market share, share of wallet, customer retention, and product & customer profitability
  • Understand the economics and P&L for the assigned product(s) also, anticipate and respond to changing customer needs with high-quality, cost-effective product solutions that are easy to sell, service, and use


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any other related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in credit cards, policies and development, operations ,compliance, anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy compliance experience in the financial services industry is required.
  • Required direct supervisory experience within the banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the BSA, AML and OFAC’s general dispositions and requirements.
  • Strong understanding of testing and quality assurance standards, processes, and techniques.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priority and deadlines at the same time.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Fully Bilingual: english and spanish.
