Job description
BJC HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time Credentialing Medical Coordinator based out of St. Louis, MO.
Position Details:
- Remote / Work from Home
- Day Shift: 8am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri)
- 2yrs office experience with managed care, medical staff, credentialing or physician office (preferred)
- credentialing or enrollment experience (preferred)
- High attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Coordinates the credentialing and privileging process of medical and allied health professional staff members.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and administers the credentialing and privileging process of medical staff members and allied health providers.
- Prepares credentialing documents and reviews applications to ensure privileges requested meet requirements.
- Administers and coordinates contract management, scheduling and billing programs.
- Processes medical staff status changes.
- Provides medical staff education and facilitates meetings with management as it relates to the medical staff and credentialing process.
